My name is Kirana, I am from Indonesia. I was born and raised in Jakarta. I teach both Indonesian and English. I have a bachelor’s degree in Communications from University of Indonesia. I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Development at The University of Manchester. I’m an LPDP awarrdee PK-199
My personal interests are philosophy, psychology, history literature, and meditation. I love meeting new people from different countries to share our experiences. And now I am ready to share my English experience with you
I love to teach and share my knowledge, skills, and experiences. I only teach adults and teenagers. Every student is unique so I will always pay attention to your goals and help you reach those to the best of my ability. I am a friendly and fun teacher so I would like to create an enjoyable lesson for you. However, all the lessons will still be informative and educational. I genuinely care about your progress, and I want you to make the most out of our lessons.
I offer two types of lessons which are conversation and structured lessons. In my conversation lessons, you can pick any topic you like, or I can suggest one. In my structured lessons, I will provide material from text books and various other sources to improve your speaking, pronunciation, grammar, listening, reading, writing. I will tailor the lessons according to your needs, goals, and interests. I use documents, pictures, articles, videos, powerpoint presentations, audio recordings as my teaching material depending on the students’ needs. I usually use Google Docs for writing corrections, new vocabulary, etc.

The enchanting city of Prague transported me back in time with its charming medieval architecture and cobblestone streets. Wandering through the fairy-tale-like Old Town Square and crossing the famous Charles Bridge felt like stepping into a storybook.
Coruña, a coastal city in Galicia, Spain, blends historical charm with natural beauty. Known for the Tower of Hercules, a still-functioning Roman lighthouse, the city also offers beautiful beaches, modern architecture, and traditional Galician cuisine, making it a captivating destination to explore.
My journey into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu began as a quest for self-discipline and fitness. What started as a way to stay active quickly transformed into a profound personal experience. Each class challenges me both physically and mentally, teaching me valuable lessons about perseverance, strategy, and self-defense. The art of BJJ emphasizes technique over brute strength, allowing practitioners of all sizes to excel. The camaraderie and respect within the BJJ community are remarkable, creating a supportive environment where everyone can grow together. Through countless hours of training, I’ve gained confidence and a deeper understanding of my own capabilities. BJJ isn’t just a sport; it’s a way of life that continually inspires me to push my limits and embrace new challenges.
Attending a meditation retreat was a life-changing decision for me, providing a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Arriving at the retreat center, I was welcomed into a serene environment designed for relaxation and self-reflection. The retreat focused on mindfulness and deep meditation practices, guiding us through various techniques to quiet the mind and cultivate inner peace. The days were filled with structured schedules of meditation, yoga, and mindful eating, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the experience. Disconnecting from technology and daily distractions, I discovered a renewed sense of clarity and tranquility. The retreat not only provided tools for managing stress but also fostered a deeper connection with myself. Returning to daily life, I felt rejuvenated and equipped with a fresh perspective on maintaining inner peace amidst the chaos of modern living.
